Automatische Logins mit Firefox' Schlüsselwortsuche


In Firefox kann man wunderbare Sachen machen; unter anderem auch sich das Leben leichter.

Möchte man sich auf eBay einloggen um dort in "Mein eBay" mal schnell etwas nachzusehen geht man meist zu ebay.de, danach auf den Link "Mein eBay", dann wird man nach Username und Passwort gefragt und anschließend muss man dies bestätigen um dann zum Ziel zu gelangen. Einfacher geht's allerdings mit der eingebauten Schlüsselwortsuche von Firefox:

Danach gibt man die gewünschte Bezeichnung ein. Der Name taucht so in den Bookmarks auf und das Schlüsselwort ist das, was man später zum aufrufen der Seite in der Adressleiste eintippt, gefolgt vom Passwort:

Danach kann man direkt in der Adressleiste mit dem Shortcut und seinem Passwort die gewünschte Seite aufrufen:

Die Nutzung der Schlüsselwortsuche für automatische Logins verlangt allerdings, daß man seine Passörter im Passwortmanager von Firefox hinterlegt hat und daß einem bei der Eingabe des Shortcuts niemand über die Schulter schaut - in der Adressleiste wird das Passwort nämlich während der Eingabe im Klartext angezeigt.
