Marco: I tried to change the registrar of my domain ****.net and the domain is now on EPP Status ClientHold since 2 days. What do I have to do to resolve this problem?

You are now speaking with ***** of Support.

*****: Hello Marco, how can I help you today?

Marco: Hi *****, can you see my question above?

*****: yes, one moment please

Marco: ok

Marco: just to clarify: the domain will be taken away from **********.net to another registrar.

*****: The transfer can take up to 7 days to complete.

*****: Since the message was sent today for the transfer, it should be complete within the next 7 days.

Marco: wow. I moved two other domains just a few months ago and it worked immediately.

*****: Sometimes it is quick and sometimes it takes the full 7 days.

*****: It could go in the next hour. We just do not have that much control over that.

Marco: is that an automated process? I am wondering why it could take up to seven days.

*****: That is what they tell us too.

Marco: is there any chance to speed this up by doing something special?

*****: It is an automated process.

*****: Not that I am aware of.

Marco: okay, thanks anyway. goodbye.

*****: bye

*****: sorry i couldnt be more help
