Steine statt Argumente?


In Anbetracht der Tatsache, daß man sich in Straßburg monatelang gegen die Patentgegner wehren konnte (bzw sie einfach ignorierte) nahm man die Proteste der Hafenarbeiter sehr schnell zur Kenntnis.

Kaum fliegen ein paar Steine, brennen ein paar Autos und gehen 6000 Hafenarbeiter in Straßburg auf die Straße, schon verschwindet das neue Paket in der Versenkung und wird gekippt.

Passend zum neuen Vorstoß in Richtung Softwarepatente durch die Hintertür sollte man auch in der IT Branche über andere Arten der Demonstration mal nachdenken. Virtuelle Blockaden, virtuelle Sit-Ins und auch geschriebene Argumente scheinen Abgeordnete nicht zu beindrucken. Klar, Hafenarbeiter sind im Durchschnitt etwas kräftiger, aber in der IT Branche gibt's deutlich mehr Beschäftigte.
